What is a HEIC file?
HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) is the photo format iPhones and iPads use by default. It keeps photos small, but many Windows PCs, websites, online forms and older apps can't open it. Converting to JPG makes your photos work everywhere.
How to convert HEIC to JPG
Drop your .heic files above, or click to pick them. Each photo is converted on your device and appears in the list with a download button. Use Download all to save everything as a single ZIP file. The first conversion loads a small one-time converter of about 3 MB.
JPG or PNG?
Choose JPG for normal photos: files are small and work everywhere. Choose PNG only if you need lossless quality, as files will be several times larger.
Stop your iPhone saving HEIC
On your iPhone go to Settings → Camera → Formats and choose Most Compatible. New photos will be saved as JPG. Existing photos stay HEIC, so convert those here.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Unlike most HEIC converters, the conversion runs entirely in your browser, so private photos never leave your phone or computer.
